Project Challenge
This site has it all – encroaching floodplain, underground water quality and detention, offsite storm improvements, and every utility under the sun in the Lamar Street frontage. Combining this with a notoriously challenging jurisdiction seems like a recipe for delays and overages.

Solution
Brightlighter navigated approval of a LOMR to relocate the floodplain, approval of underground detention and water quality, and a large diameter bored crossing of the RTD West Line tracks. Our jurisdictional knowledge and personal relationships with city staff allowed us to prepare an approvable design from day one and minimzed the amount of redesign during review.
